Meet the Doctor

Dr. Chen believes that exceptional dentistry is built on a foundation of trust, precision, and genuine patient care. Her philosophy centers on delivering evidence-based treatment in a calm, comfortable environment where patients feel heard and supported. She values patient education and collaborative decision-making, empowering patients to take an active role in their oral health. Dr. Chen is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality care that supports both long-term function and confident smiles.

Dr. Chen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Mathematics from Swarthmore College, where she attended on a full four-year scholarship. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she again was awarded a four-year merit-based scholarship. While in dental school, she received the CIRTL Certificate in STEM Teaching and assisted with clinical instruction, reflecting her passion for education and mentorship.

Dr. Chen spent her childhood and teenage years in China and is fluent in Mandarin, allowing her to connect comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds. She has also provided free dental care through a mission trip to Jamaica, reinforcing her commitment to service and expanding access to oral healthcare.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chen enjoys skiing, figure skating, ballet, and spending quality time with friends and family. The discipline, balance, and joy she finds in these activities are qualities she brings into her practice each day.
